Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using sportDB (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. In these Terms, "you" means you and your organisation.

2. The Service

sportDB is a cloud-based tool that helps clubs track sponsorship assets, deliveries, reporting, and related workflows. We add, change, and remove features over time. We aim to avoid disruption but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

4. Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal. If a payment fails, we may suspend access until it's resolved.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other accounts.
• Interfere with other customers' use of the Service.
• Distribute malware or use the Service to send spam.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without permission.
• Use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breaches, with notice where reasonable.

6. Your data

You keep all rights to data you submit ("Your Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Data as needed to run the Service. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any data you upload, including sponsor and member information. Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Our intellectual property

sportDB, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our IP beyond using the Service. Feedback you send us may be used freely without obligation.

8. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms or fail to pay. On termination, we'll give you a reasonable window to export Your Data; after that we may delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all implied warranties where allowed, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if you're on a free plan. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, except where local law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
